Steak & Date Night


We can't believe that it's almost time for back to school with all of the shopping, organizing, schedules, getting the kids to bed earlier (wishful thinking, right?), and everything else it brings. This year, why not take advantage of the last few days of summer and plan a Steak & Date Night (that includes a trip to the MOA and an overnight) with your special someone.

A Cut Above the Rest - Certified Angus Beef


You may be an experienced steak aficionado or maybe you just stick with what you like when you visit a steakhouse. From Filet Mignon to Ribeye, Tenderloin to New York Strip, no matter the cut you choose, here at Woolley's, each steak we serve is Certified Angus Beef ®.

This means that each cut of beef must pass the following 10 stringent quality specifications to earn the right to be called Certified Angus Beef ®:

Marbling and Maturity

  1. Modest or higher marbling – for the taste that ensures customer satisfaction, 
  2. Medium or fine marbling texture – the white "flecks of flavor" in the beef that ensure consistent flavor and juiciness in every bite, and
  3. Only the youngest classification of product qualifies as "A" maturity – for superior color, texture and tenderness.

The next three specifications ensure a uniform, consistent steak size:

  1. 10- to 16-square-inch ribeye area, 
  2. Less than 1,000-pound hot carcass weight, and
  3. Less than 1-inch fat thickness.


And finally, four specifications further ensure the quality appearance and tenderness of the brand:

  1. Superior muscling (restricts influence of dairy cattle), 
  2. Practically free of capillary ruptures (ensures the most visually appealing steak), 
  3. No dark cutters (ensures the most visually appealing steak), and
  4. No neck hump exceeding 2 inches (safeguards against cattle with more variability in tenderness).

Not only is each cut of beef certified, but it's also seasoned and cooked to perfection by our expert culinary team. Our largest meeting room offers 3,358 square feet of space for your meeting, event, or conference. What's more, our experienced catering team is here for you. Are you thinking about holding an outdoor wedding ceremony? Our indoor garden atrium offers an outdoor feel without the threat of rain, snow or unbearable heat. This unique tropical space is perfect for ceremonies with up to 300 people. For couples planning a small, intimate wedding we have our Piano Lounge, featuring a Gazebo with a grand piano in the background. This space can accommodate up to 50.


As well as the Atrium, we offer our Grand Ballrooms, the Orchid/Azalea Room and the Gardenia Room. Our Grand Ballrooms hold up to 250 and 300 respectively and have a traditional ballroom feel with elegant chandeliers, rich wall coverings and carpet. The Orchid & Azalea room can accommodate up to 100 people. This room is unique with double glass French doors. The Gardenia room features windows to the outside and a gas fireplace.

Restaurant Week is Back at Woolley's: July 14 - 19

Mpls St Paul Magazine's Restaurant Week is returning to Woolley's for its summer iteration! Join us once again for three-course lunches and dinners at a very special price.


Lunch — $20
LUNCH ONLY: Free glass of house wine to start or non-alcoholic beverage

Appetizer (Choose one):
Soup & Salad Bar - Prepared fresh daily, featuring two house-made soups.

Entrée (Choose one):

  • Pasta Vodka - Ground spicy Italian sausage, roasted red peppers and Prosciutto ham, simmered in a creamy vodka tomato sauce, tossed with penne pasta and topped with freshly grated parmesan cheese.
  • Minnesota Walleye - Grilled, Beer Battered or Panko Crusted with wild rice, vegetable du jour.
  • Petite Martini Steak - A flat iron steak grilled and seasoned with all the makings of a martini (shaken not stirred) and garnished with St. Peter’s bleu cheese crumbles and green olives. Served with vegetable du jour and scalloped potatoes.
  • Black and Bleu Pasta - Spicy beef tips sautéed with red onion, spinach, sun-dried tomatoes and bacon. Tossed in linguini noodles with a Southwest sauce and topped with bleu cheese crumbles.
  • Almost Famous Chicken Sandwich - Grilled chicken breast, jalapeno aioli, chicken fried bacon, butter lettuce, avocado, tomato slices, 7 grain Ciabatta.
  • Bacon Bleu Burger - Bleu cheese, chicken fried bacon and creamy horseradish mustard served on our special blend of chuck and short ribs. {Our burgers are ground daily in-house, hand pattied and seasoned with Chef Peter’s secret blend.}
  • Shrimp Po' Boy - Deep fried shrimp, shredded lettuce, roma tomatoes, spicy aioli, toasted ciabatta. 
  • Pastrami Sandwich - Hot pastrami on Russian rye bun with horseradish mustard, Swiss cheese, spicy house made pickles and an over easy egg. Served with pasta salad.

  • Top Sirloin - 8oz top sirloin on a bed of sautéed mushrooms and onions. Served with our famous scalloped potatoes.

  • Black and Bleu Pasta - Spicy beef tips sautéed with red onions, spinach, bacon and sun-dried tomatoes, served with chipotle cream and bleu cheese crumbles.
